This video was done with my current class to demonstrate how to use our lap tops carefully. I have them sign a contract at the beginning of the year with the same rules that are being shown on the video. I will use this with my next class at the beginning of the year as a fun way to show them correct computer usage. I had the students do this in an amusing way to keep everyone entertained, but also help them remember what was most important.
This lesson plan would be used with the 4th grade electrical circuits unit. As a culminating project for the unit, students build houses that have working electrical circuits in them. I would have the students create a photostory of each step of this process and then add their voice to include the important vocabulary terms learned for the unit.
